I am pleased to announce the availability of SceneryCheck3 version 3.2.10. I have taken the same features as SceneryCheck2, adapted them for Condor3, and also made some improvements. The main features of SceneryCheck3 are: - 3 possible modes: * "Basic": Strictly identical to the CondorCheck3 test for installed scenes. * "Developer": Performs more in-depth tests on the existence of referenced textures. * "Selection": Allows you to analyze only the objects that will be selected. - Ability to display results in a tree view with icons indicating the type of anomaly encountered - Multiple levels of detail (minimum, standard, maximum) - Ability to check only certain areas among: * Airport definition (scene analysis.apt) * Autogen object definition (analysis of the \Autogen directory) * Object definition (scene analysis.obj) * All object files present in the scene tree * Analysis of object and texture files present in the selected scene and indication of their use or not * Ability to detect and possibly correct, after confirmation, the problem of files referenced in Autogen but not present in the scene (requires first checking the "Hex" and "Errors" options) - Resettable counters - Memorization of checked options and directories used - Resizing of the main application window is possible (with saving upon exiting the program). - Added hints (help messages when hovering over buttons) - Added a progress bar - Added a timer - Added the ability to filter results to process only Autogen files whose names are composed of hexadecimal characters (excluding aaaaaa, bbbbbb, cccccc, dddddd, eeeeee, ffffff) - Added the ability to display only errors in the results tree - Fixed the program's loss of response during intensive processing. Main indications detected by SceneryCheck: - Texture missing or present - Texture referenced outside the selected scene or Condor's public directories. - Texture declaration errors detected (wrong file extension, incorrect syntax) - Checks whether objects and textures are actually used in the scene Although this program is primarily intended for scene designers, it can be safely run by any Condor user. No system modifications are made by SceneryCheck3 (only a "SceneryCheck3.ini" file will be created in the current directory to store the various options and window positions). Except in cases where you wish to explicitly correct problems with textures referenced in Autogen but not included with the scene. Notes: The first time, the program will display an English interface, but you can change it. Some actions, such as analyzing Autogen files or using objects/textures, can take several dozen minutes. To use SceneryCheck3, simply unzip the file into a folder I hope this tool will help you create your scenes for Condor3.
