VerifLocal

Flight analyser, safety oriented

VerifLocal analyzes IGC or Condor flight recordings.

It allows to check whether the glider has remained within gliding range of Landable Areas (LA) during the flight and can determine escape routes.
The reachable area can be determined from any point on the trajectory.
Low-level flying may be detected
Airspace may be detected and displayed
It is possible to use topographic data from Condor or LK8000 or OpenTopgraphy
A batch mode enables to process multiple files without graphical display

The name comes from the French gliding expression : “rester en local”: “to remain within gliding range”

The FFVP Safety Commission recommends using VerifLocal for debriefing cross-country flights
